Since our inception in 2001, we’ve been committed to pioneering eco-friendly spirits and setting a benchmark for responsible production within the industry. Our dedication to sustainability encompasses various facets of our operations:

As a proud Visionary Member of Rocky Mountain Power’s wind program, we actively support renewable energy initiatives. Our usage of 150,000 kilowatt-hours of renewable energy has played a crucial role in reducing our carbon footprint by 191,742 pounds of carbon dioxide. This reduction is equivalent to not driving a car for approximately 206,920 miles, highlighting our commitment to mitigating our environmental impact.

We take pride in being the first distiller in the United States to achieve organic certification back in 2001. Our commitment to using non-GMO alcohols derived from Idaho® russet potatoes and certified organic grains underscores our dedication to sustainable sourcing practices. By prioritizing organic ingredients, we support environmentally conscious agriculture while ensuring the highest quality spirits for our consumers.

All fermentation and distillation by-products are meticulously recycled within our operations, minimizing waste and promoting a circular economy. Additionally, our distillery, located in the pristine Rocky Mountains, utilizes water drawn from the pure Snake River Aquifer, maintaining the integrity of this vital resource. Our focus on localized production, with all Blue Ice spirits and brands developed within a 300-foot radius in Eastern Idaho, reduces transportation emissions and supports our local community.
