Renewable Energy Leadership:
As a proud Visionary Member of Rocky Mountain Power’s wind program, we actively support renewable energy initiatives. Our usage of 150,000 kilowatt-hours of renewable energy has played a crucial role in reducing our carbon footprint by 191,742 pounds of carbon dioxide. This reduction is equivalent to not driving a car for approximately 206,920 miles, highlighting our commitment to mitigating our environmental impact.
Organic Certification and Responsible Sourcing:
We take pride in being the first distiller in the United States to achieve organic certification back in 2001. Our commitment to using non-GMO alcohols derived from Idaho® russet potatoes and certified organic grains underscores our dedication to sustainable sourcing practices. By prioritizing organic ingredients, we support environmentally conscious agriculture while ensuring the highest quality spirits for our consumers.
Efficient Resource Utilization:
All fermentation and distillation by-products are meticulously recycled within our operations, minimizing waste and promoting a circular economy. Additionally, our distillery, located in the pristine Rocky Mountains, utilizes water drawn from the pure Snake River Aquifer, maintaining the integrity of this vital resource. Our focus on localized production, with all Blue Ice spirits and brands developed within a 300-foot radius in Eastern Idaho, reduces transportation emissions and supports our local community.
We recognize that sustainability is an ongoing journey, and we remain dedicated to continuous improvement. Our long-standing history of prioritizing environmental stewardship and sustainable practices propels us to explore innovative ways to further reduce our ecological impact and promote a more sustainable future for generations to come.
At Blue Ice Vodka, we firmly believe that every decision we make today shapes the world of tomorrow. We invite our consumers and partners, to join us in our journey towards a more sustainable and responsible future.
